Karting is physically demanding and your ribs are particularly susceptible to intense pressure during kart driving. The g-forces that are being put on your body, especially your ribcage, are multiplied when the kart is turning. A rib protector must not be too big! If in doubt go for the smaller size and use the width adjustment at the rear under the rear joining panel. The halves should not touch in the front!
